Good Afternoon DanceSafe Family! We wanted to take a moment to express our appreciation, gratitude and respect for Melissa (Missi) Wooldridge for her 7 years of service to Dancesafe. As of June 24th (Friday) she has stepped down as Executive Director of Dancesafe. Missi's journey started as a chapter leader in 2009 for our Denver chapter. This led to a Board of Directors role in 2011 and eventually she was hired into the Executive Director role in 2013. Dancesafe would like to take the time to thank everyone who has supported us, everyone who has found some use and value from our services, our volunteers, our literature or anything else over the years a heartfelt THANK YOU! Without your help, Dancesafe would not be able to reach as many people as it does. With only 2.5 staff (Part timers ahoy!) most of us volunteer and have for years to make sure everyone is more aware and knowledgeable about the world around them.
