As part of our continuing efforts to strengthen our organizational structure and increase capacity, DanceSafe Board of Directors are excited to announce that DanceSafe’s former Deputy Director, Madalyn McElwain, is now its Chief Legal & Financial Officer!

During this year’s strategy summit, the board reviewed staff roles, and determined that this new title for Madalyn more accurately reflects her role within the organization. This title change also helps provide transparency to our supporters on staff’s day-to-day responsibilities. Madalyn is chiefly responsible for DanceSafe’s finances and legal compliance, but her duties also include communications, outreach planning and implementation, and fundraising.

Help us congratulate Madalyn on her new title! You can expect more exciting news in the months to come about our strategic plan for this new fiscal year, as well as organizational goals and objectives. DanceSafe is ever-evolving, and we couldn’t be more excited for our future as a leader in nightlife harm reduction!
