Join us on Sunday, April 10th, 2016 for our 1st Annual DanceSafe FundRAGER! Our vision brings the community together with the artists they love and offers space to learn and participate in workshops that excite and influence them–all while raising money to support DanceSafe! We will have workshops and panels to engage attendees in daytime activities, transforming the venue into a celebration as the sun goes down.

Thus, our FundRAGER is unique in that from 10AM – 7PM, we will be hosting various workshops and guest speakers to provide attendees with an inside look on topics such as drug policy, drug checking, health promotion and education, stigma, and many more. Community and activity-based workshops will include yoga, dance, poi/fire spinning, and hula hooping. NOW announcing our educational workshops including:

Dealing with Difficult Drug-Related Experiences + Zendo Training

Injection Drug Use and Opiate Harm Reduction + Naloxone Training

The Drug War Causes More Harm Than Good + Tips for dealing with law enforcement from ‘The Festival Lawyer’

Drug Checking: A Pragmatic Public Health Practice + Testing Kit Demonstration

Yes, lunch and h’ordeuvres will be provided!

From 8PM – 1AM, there will performances by a variety of electronic music artists! NOW announcing performing artists including:

We will also have Live Painters, Vendors, Artists, Silent Auction, Raffles & MORE! Come dressed to impress for our “Funky Formal” themed event, let your freak flags fly!

As a part of the FundRAGER, there will be 10×10 spaces designed for non-profit organizations to exhibit and vendors. Space is LIMITED!

Non-Profits: Each 10×10 space includes 2 complimentary passes to the event. There is no fee for the space. However, we ask you to raise awareness about the event and invite individuals from your organizations and networks. Many of these spaces are invite-only. However, if your organization supports DanceSafe’s mission and would like the opportunity to reach the population we serve, please email Missi Wooldridge at to request space and/ or for more information.
