Product Description

Our four standard testing kits in one convenient and cheaper package!

Includes 1 each of the Mandelin, Mecke, Marquis, and Simon’s Reagents (4 kits / 5 bottles total). Each bottle contains enough reagent for approximately 50 tests.

This kit contains everything below

mandelin-1Mandelin Reagent (blue bottle): Good for detecting ketamine and the deadly adulterants PMA and PMMA. Also tests for the presence of MDxx, meth/amphetamine, certain substances from the 2C group, and some opiates. A solution of sulfuric acid and ammonium vanadate.

Mandelin Color Reactions — MDxx: Blue to black | Meth/amphetamine: Green | Ketamine: Orange to very dark orange | 2C-T-x: Orange to salmon | Cocaine: Light orange — MDPV, Methylone: orange/brown | PMA/PMMA: Green to brown | Oxycodone: Olive

NOTE: Mandelin Reagent is naturally bright yellow in color by itself. This kit needs to be shaken well before using. All color reactions given here are what you should see after 30 seconds to 1 minute.

meckeMecke Reagent (red bottle): Good for detecting 2c-T-x compounds and certain opiates. Also produces clearly different color reactions for DXM and MDMA.

Mecke Color Reactions: MDxx: Green turning quickly to blue/black | DXM: Yellow | MDPV, Methylone: Orange to brown | Mephedrone: Rusty brown/red, ‘watery’ | Codeine/morphine/hydrocodone: Very dark bluish green | Oxycodone: Olive | 2C-T-x: Yellow through red to purple

NOTE: The color reactions for MDMA, MDA, an MDE are the same with Mecke reagent. You can then use the Folin Reagent to determine between MDA and MDMA or MDE.

marquisMarquis Reagent (white bottle): Marquis was our very first kit. It is an excellent field test for a wide variety of substances.

Marquis Color Reactions: MDxx: Purple to black | Speed: Orange | DXM: Grey to black (slowly) | MDPV, Methylone, Butylone: Yellow | Mephedrone: Orange/red | 2C-B: Yellow to green over 30 seconds | 2C-T-x: Orange to salmon | BZP: No color change

NOTE: The color reactions for MDMA, MDA, and MDE are the same purple to black. Methamphetamine and amphetamine are the same orange. MDPV, methylone and butylone are the same yellow. You can then use the Folin Reagent to tell the difference between MDA and MDMA or MDE.

Simon’s Reagent (yellow and green bottles): Simon’s Reagent is a secondary test that tells the difference between MDMA and MDA. It can also differentiate amphetamine from methamphetamine. Contains two bottles.

Simon’s reagent should never be used alone. It is only useful after first testing your sample with Marquis, Mecke or Mandelin.

If a substance tests positive for an MDx substance by turning black with Marquis, Mecke or Mandelin, then a blue color change with Simon’s indicates the presence of MDMA or MDE (but MDE is extremely rare) and no reaction indicates MDA.

Testing Instructions

IMPORTANT: Never have more than one reagent bottle open at a time. If you mix up the caps and put the wrong cap on the wrong reagent bottle, this may cross-contaminate the reagents and ruin them. Be sure to perform the tests in a well-lit location.

  1. Scrape a tiny bit of your pill or powder onto a white ceramic plate.
  2. Take the reagent bottle out of the plastic safety container.
  3. Remove the cap and turn the bottle upside-down a couple inches over the powder.
  4. Squeeze one drop out of the bottle onto the powder.
  5. Be careful to not let the dropper bottle touch your powder or you will contaminate the kit and ruin the entire bottle.
  6. Replace the cap.
  7. Observe the color change right away.
  8. Use the corresponding kits column on the DanceSafe color chart included with your kit to evaluate your test.

If the reagent either does not change any color during the first 30 seconds or if it produces some other color-change sequence, then the pill definitely does not contain any of the above substances. It may also be highly adulterated with one or more unknown substances. You can use other DanceSafe reagents on new samples to look for the presence of other substances. Wash the testing surfaces with soap and water as soon as possible.

Storage and Handling Instructions:

The DanceSafe reagents are primarily sulfuric acid with other potentially dangerous chemicals and are strong enough to burn skin and clothing. Keep out of eyes and mouth. Wear latex gloves when handling the bottle and cap. If you get some on you, then wash quickly with soap and water. Wash testing surfaces with soap and water as well. Dispose of any unwanted reagent down the sink with running water and baking soda. Store all testing kits in a cold, dark place (like your freezer) between uses.

NOTE: DanceSafe Reagents can only determine the PRESENCE, not QUANTITY or PURITY, of a particular substance. Dark color reactions will tend to override reactions to other substances also in the pill.

A positive or negative reaction for a substance does not indicate that a drug is safe. No drug use is 100% safe.

  1. :

This kit is great for letting you know what substances are in your pills. Using this kit, I was able to avoid buying a bunk batch of pills – they were actually aspirin with no MDMA contents whatsoever. Saved me from wasting my money. The only issue I have is that this kit gives no indication of how much of each chemical in this pills. However, it has the most comprehensive result chart I’ve ever gotten from a test kit, so I’m happy with it.
