DanceSafe xylazine test strips can quickly and reliably detect xylazine in an opioid sample. Xylazine is a veterinary sedative that has been detected in opioid samples across the US, causing heavier sedation when combined with fentanyl as well as painful necrotic wounds.
At this time, we do not recommend using xylazine test strips with non-opioids as there is not yet sufficient data on how these tests perform with non-opioid substances. As of 2025, xylazine test strips are still relatively new and more research is needed to determine their reliability with substances other than opioids.
Each strip comes individually packaged with a QR code linking to our full digital instructions and includes a 10 mg micro scoop inside of each pouch.
