An peach colored “Pink Bartok” tablet with was submitted from Chicago, IL. This sample was sold as Ecstasy/MDMA, but did not test as such. It was found to contain 3 (active) parts Methylsulfonylmethane (an organic sulfur-containing compound that is often take as a joint health supplement), 2 (active) parts caffeine, and 1 (active) part methamphetamine.

The first pill is a white and light blue round, domed lightning bolt tablet (pictured left). The pill tested as caffeine and methamphetamine. Two pressed tablets sourced from Georgia and sold as ecstasy were submitted from Meridian, Mississippi. Neither tested positive for MDMA. The 'Heisenberg' Tablet The first pill is a multicolored, rainbow-hued 'Heisenberg' tablet (also called Walter White or Hipster). The pill tested as mostly caffeine with trace amounts of methamphetamine. The sender note states that the tablet 'doesn't react to Marquis or Mandelin tests’. Warning! A bi-layer “Skype” tablet circulating the black market contains 258.8 mg of MDMA, almost three times the amount of a typical dose (~100 mg). An “extreme high dose” warning has been issued by SaferParty, a Switzerland-based harm reduction group. One side of the tablet is blue with colored speckles, and the other side is white. It is scored on its white side to make it easier to break up into smaller doses. It is unknown what the pill was marketed and sold as, and the source of the tablet is also unknown. The pill was submitted in Bern, Switzerland last month.
