Welcome, Ms. Emma Jacobson!
Last Updated: January 24, 2024
Emma Jacobson has been a part of the electronic music community since 2008. From Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she found herself in a rave community that provided her with a world of acceptance. However, she took notice in the lack of understanding, obtainable unbiased information, and resources on health, drug use, and personal safety. Empowered to improve quality of life and create a culture of consciousness and togetherness in our community, she got involved with DanceSafe. Emma has staffed DanceSafe harm reduction booths at many large scale events including TomorrowWorld, Detroit Electronic Music Festival, and Electric Forest. Motivated and educated, she became the Co-Chapter Lead for Midwest DanceSafe. Emma also believes in the “Show Love, Spread Love” philosophy made popular by the EDM funk sensation, GRiZ. Since established, she has been on the team of “Liberators,” GRiZ’s street team that focuses on creating exciting experiences for the fan-base, encouraging community involvement, organizing local volunteer opportunities, and uniting the GRiZ Family. Emma brings her passion for harm reduction and experience with “Liberators” to DanceSafe’s national team as the Program Coordinator of DanceSafe Visionaries.
What is the Visionary Program?

Being part of the Visionaries, is a guaranteed a sense of accomplishment, participating in a program that will shape and mobilize our community. We will have weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly chances to spread the DanceSafe harm reduction message online and in ‘real life’, and by doing so accumulate points redeemable for everything from custom DanceSafe Visionary pins to free testing kits!
