#TestIt Alert: Counterfeit Adderall Tests as Methamphetamine
Last Updated: August 1, 2022
By: DanceSafe Staff
An orange, oval tablet sold as Adderall online and submitted to EcstasyData.org from San Jose, CA, tested as methamphetamine. The pill has imprinted on one side “b” and “974” with break lines, and “-3|0-” on the other side, resembling a prescription 30mg Adderall tablet. However, this pill is counterfeit.
According to EcstasyData.org, the Marquis reagent turned orange, the Mecke reacted yellow, and Mandelin did not react.
We urge our community to keep in mind that drug markets are expansive and these substances may appear in locations other than the submission’s origins. Always test before you ingest to avoid ingesting misrepresented substances. Purchase your DanceSafe drug checking kit here.
If you test a misrepresented substance, please submit it to testit@dancesafe.org to be featured in a #TestIt Alert.
