DanceSafe would like to thank Ms. Carissa Cornwell for the 15+ years she has given to the organization and for acting as an ambassador to all she came into contact with during her time with us. Over the years, she has helped to develop the organization and our national outreach efforts. She has played many roles and has been an integral part of our organization’s growth. Many of her achievements include establishing chapters and volunteers, developing new materials and supplies, building a presence in many music communities across the United States, and improving the quality of life of our overall nightlife and electronic music scenes. Starting with the Madison chapter, she has built up the Midwest DanceSafe group to have a strong presence in their local community.  DanceSafe is lucky to have had her dedication throughout the years. DanceSafe and Ms. Cornwell are parting ways. She will be missed, and we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.
