By: Rachel Clark, Private Contractor A baggie of white powder was sold in Milwaukee, WI as cocaine but actually contains fentanyl, amphetamine, and levamisole. The report was submitted from Oberlin, Ohio. The sample turned orange in the presence of the Marquis reagent, dark orange in the presence of the Liebermann reagent, green in the presence of the Mandelin reagent, and did not react with the Simon’s reagent. The sample, when diluted properly, returned a positive result for the presence of fentanyl or its analogs.
