A clear capsule of crystalline white powder expected to be MDMA tested as 2-parts TFMPP, a synthetic piperazine, and 1-part MDMA, with a trace amount of Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), a mostly inert supplement. The capsule was sourced and submitted to EcstasyData.org from San Diego, CA.
According to service providers in a local Twin Cities harm reduction organization, the substance they believe to be Pink is testing positive for fentanyl and is showing up all throughout Minneapolis/St. Paul. The mobile harm reduction crew in the area had a handful of positive tests and has reported 11 overdoses today, September 13, and a dozen yesterday. The crew has also stated that the opioid substance is so strong, it is taking 5-6 doses of Narcan (Naloxone) to reverse.
A white powder sold as MDMA in New Jersey but submitted from Brooklyn, NY tested as N-Ethylpentylone (also known as ephylone and βk-EPDB), a cathinone of the phenethylamine class that produces some of the same effects as MDMA, but is significantly stronger and substantially riskier.
A community member has submitted information to DanceSafe regarding a substance sourced in Jacksonville, FL that is being marketed and sold as “Blue Molly” (MDMA), described as “a very light almost tealish blue crystalline substance.” The submitter used only the Marquis reagent, which reacted fluorescent yellow, indicating it was likely a cathinone (or “bath salt”) such as methylone, ethylone, or butylone.
A orange, oval tablet sold as Adderall and submitted to EcstasyData.org from Minneapolis, MN, tested as Methamphetamine. The pill had imprinted on the front “b” and “974” with break lines, and on the back “-3|0-”, resembling a prescription 30mg Adderall tablet. However, this pill was counterfeit.
A community member provided DanceSafe with information about an incident involving an individual in Louisville, KY who was recently hospitalized for symptoms related to a drug overdose. According to the patient, they were only using cocaine and ketamine, but fentanyl was found in their system.

A white, broken tablet sold as Hydrocodone 325/10 was submitted from Houston, TX but tested as 20 (active) parts Acetaminophen (Tylenol) and 1 (active) part Fentanyl. Fentanyl and various fentanyl analogs are highly potent synthetic opioids between fifty and many hundreds of times stronger than heroin.
